Transport Management System · General Trias, Cavite

Trucking management system for General Trias haulers.

General Trias runs two truck ban schedules on three routes: one for 10-wheelers and anything over 4,500 kg, a shorter one for 6- to 8-wheelers. This is how small fleets serving the city's ecozones plan around both and keep every trip and its signed receipt on one record.

Truck ban

Two schedules in General Trias, set by wheel count and weight.

City Ordinance No. 23-09 rewrote Section 103 of the Revised City Traffic Management Code of 2022 in March 2023. Each trip carries its pickup and drop-off times, so dispatch can check them against the right schedule before the truck leaves.

Heavy trucks

  • Cargo trucks, gravel and sand trucks, and heavy-tonnage cargo trucks with ten or more wheels
  • Any vehicle with a gross weight over 4,500 kg, including tractor trailers and container haulers
  • Banned from 6 to 10 AM and from 3 to 8 PM, every day

6- to 8-wheelers

  • Trucks with six to eight wheels
  • Banned from 6 to 8 AM and from 4 to 7 PM
  • Monday to Saturday only

The three routes

  • Barangay Prinza intersection to Barangay Tejero intersection, including Tejero Bypass Road
  • The Poblacion area, including Barangay Sta. Clara
  • Tiburcio R. Luna Street in Barangays Bacao I and Bacao II, including Metrobank-NIA Road and Antel Bypass Road

The City Traffic Management Office (CTMO) puts up the signs and enforces the ban with the General Trias City PNP. The ordinance took effect once copies were posted in public places. Before it, the code banned heavy trucks from any major road from 6 to 9 AM and 3 to 7 PM. Source: City of General Trias Ordinance No. 23-09, ordained March 13, 2023, checked October 1, 2026. Passes and fines

Who is exempt, and what a General Trias ticket costs.

The rest of the truck rules sit in the Revised City Traffic Management Code of 2022, City Ordinance No. 22-21, which revised the town's 2008 traffic code.

  • Exempt. City garbage trucks, emergency vehicles of power and water companies, government infrastructure vehicles with a certification and trip pass from DPWH, DOTC or an LGU, and heavy vehicles carrying perishable goods in commercial quantity (Section 104).
  • Truck ban fine. ₱1,000, or up to five days in jail, or both, at the court's discretion (Section 139).
  • Clamping zones. A clamping zone violation (Section 85) costs ₱4,500 for a heavy motor vehicle and ₱5,000 for a super heavy one.
  • Bridges. No vehicle may cross a city bridge heavier than the weight limit posted at its approach (Section 98).
  • Contested tickets. A City Traffic Adjudication Board hears protests, filed through the Office of the City Mayor or the traffic division within the period printed on the ticket.

The ordinance gives 6- to 8-wheelers their own hours, 6 to 8 AM and 4 to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday. It also puts any vehicle over 4,500 kg gross weight in the heavy group, so if your 6-wheeler is over that, confirm with the City Traffic Management Office which hours apply.

The 2023 ordinance names three routes: Prinza to Tejero with Tejero Bypass Road, the Poblacion with Sta. Clara, and Tiburcio R. Luna Street in Bacao I and II. For any other road, ask the City Traffic Management Office.

No. It runs the work around each trip: bookings, assignments, delivery records and proof of delivery. If you use GPS, keep it.

It depends on your fleet size and how you work. We show it to you first, then send a quote.
